You will receive training in your specific focus as a professional in the field as well build your resume with a cutting edge non-profit. There will be evaluations of work as well as professional, constructive suggestions and official letters of recommendation at the end of internship. Possible job placement with Eudaimonia is also available.

Interns must be at least 18 and have completed 2 years at a university or college. Internships are also available to area professionals seeking to flush out their resume and make a difference in their community.

Our theater Internships are split into segmented seasons to make it easier for student's time commitments: First semester will include Boston Marriage and The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told early 2007. Second semester will include The Dawning (a new playwrights festival) and Wit in late 2007. All productions will be at Chicago area theatres.

Stage Management Internship

• This intern will stage manage our first two shows of the season. They will be responsible for organizing rehearsal schedules with our directors, communicating with our artistic director and staff, calling our shows, and training and coordinating assistant stage managers.

Technical Director Internship

• Responsible for set building and translation of design to practical application. Duties also include lighting implementation and any special effects.

Design Internships

• Offering internships in Light, Prop, Costume, Set and Sound Design.

Director Internships

• Assistant directing two shows of the season and the possibility of directing a summer show. There is also the possibility of training to direct youth theater in the suburbs of Chicago.

Marketing and Communications Internships

• Intern will learn post college level marketing and communications skills. Responsibilities depend on the strengths of the applicant. Mentorship will include development of highly marketable skills in the intern.

Production Manager Internships

• Intern will learn and assist Eudaimonia's team of producers and lead a production team during the internship. Will develop the marketable skills required to coordinate the vision of the board and the efforts of our stage managers, directors, playwrights, actors and staff.
